With Roman Reigns away from the WWE for 30 days, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose are perhaps the two most prominent figures at the company right now. Rollins’ main storyline at the moment is a match to take place at Battleground next month, during which he will battle Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
30-year-old Seth Rollins, whose real name is Colby Lopez, was born on May 28, 1986 in Buffalo, Iowa. He is 6’1 and weighs in at 217 pounds. He has been wrestling professionally since at 2005, but he joined the WWE in 2010, making a big splash in 2013 with the debut of The Shield.
Here is everything you need to know about WWE performer Seth Rollins.
1. He Makes $310,000 Per Year

Considering how prominent he has been over the past few years, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that Seth Rollins earns a pretty substantial paycheck. Rollins is evidently making about $310,000 per year at the WWE.
This actually puts him ahead of his former Shield partner Roman Reigns, who makes $240,000 per year. Both wrestlers also make additional earnings from merchandise and pay-per-views, although their travel expenses are not paid for by the company.
As of 2016, Rollins’ net worth is $3 million.
2. He Broke Up With His Girlfriend in Early 2016

Rollins appears to be single at the moment, having broken up with his girlfriend Zahra Schreiber earlier this year.
Schreiber, a former NXT diva, was fired by the WWE in 2015 for posting swastika images on her Instagram page. At the time, she had captioned one of these photos with “I like history ha.” She also said “The swastika means prosperity and luck. It was around way before Hitler turned it into an icon,” according to TMZ.
This was not the reason the two broke up, though; it wasn’t until February 2016 that Rollins and Schreiber quietly split, TMZ reported at the time.
3. He Says He Loves to Eat Junk Food

You might expect someone as athletic as Seth Rollins to have an extremely strict diet, but that’s not exactly the case. He told Men’s Journal that he eats quite a bit, often taking trips to Taco Bell, Wendy’s and McDonald’s on the road; he just makes sure that this is balanced out by his time at the gym.
“I’ve noticed that over time the intensity of my workouts is so high, that I can get away with eating whatever I want,” He said. “And I love eating a lot. So if I wanna eat more, I’ll just work harder. I’ll make that sacrifice in the gym instead of in the kitchen.”
He also said that when he gets home after a long week, he has a workout at the gym and then goes home and devours a giant taco pizza and a pint of Ben and Jerry’s ice cream.
4. He Has a Dog Named Kevin & A Kitten Named Darrell

Seth Rollins is a dog person, as will be clear to anyone who follows him on Instagram. He is frequently seen acting as various dogs’ best friends, in particular his own Yorkie named Kevin.
He isn’t just about dogs, though; Rollins recently brough a cat named Darrell into the family.
5. He Had Knee Surgery In 2015
WWE fans will recall that Seth Rollins was out of commission for about six months after suffering a very serious injury during a match. While fighting Kane at a live event in Ireland, Rollins tore the ACL, MCL, and medial meniscus in his knee and was forced to undergo surgery.
Rollins did not initially realize how serious the injury was, though, and so he got right back up and attempted to finish his match.
“My first instinct, as it always has been, is to get up,” Rollins said. “So I’m standing straight up and I’m putting weight on it, it’s cool. So I pick 330-pound Kane up wobble out there and put him through the table. I end up somehow hitting a Pedigree on my knee, which at this point I don’t know the extent of the injury. I pin him, and I’m just laying there as the doctors and trainers come out and take a look at it. It seemed OK.
But as soon as Rollins went to the hospital, he was informed of the full extent of his injury and told he was going to be sent into surgery as soon as possible.
The WWE actually filmed his entire surgery, so if you’re curious what Seth Rollins getting a knee operation looks like, you’re in luck:
