Looking for a way to watch a live stream of Friday’s action at the 2016 U.S. Open? There are a couple of different ways to watch online, both of which are free.
Play begins at 7:30 a.m. ET and will be broadcast on FOX Sports 1 and FOX (click here for full TV info and tee times). Here’s a full rundown of how to watch the action live online or on other devices:
How to Watch 2016 U.S. Open Friday Live Stream Online
You can watch coverage online for free via USOpen.com.
The stream includes three different options: Featured Group 1, Featured Group 2 or coverage of Holes 3, 13 and 17.
If you’re looking for a way to watch the FOX broadcast but don’t have a cable subscription, you can watch the action through Sling TV, an online streaming service that provides access to select channels for a monthly fee.
The service’s “Best of Live TV Beta Multi Stream” package, which includes both Fox Sports 1 and FOX, costs $20 a month. But if you’re looking for a way to watch the action for free, you can do so with Sling’s free 7-day trial. Click here to sign up for Sling TV, and make sure to select the “Best of Live TV Beta Multi Stream”. You’ll need to enter your credit card information when signing up, but if you cancel your subscription before the trial period ends, you will not be charged.
If you do have access to a cable or satellite log-in, you can watch online via Fox Sports GO. You’ll need the log-in and password for a cable subscription — either yours or someone else’s — to access the stream.
